Google Chrome是美国谷歌（Google）公司开发的一款Web浏览器。Expat是美国软件开发者吉姆-克拉克所研发的一个基于C语言的XML解析器库，它采用了一个面向流的解析器。 Google Chrome 44.0.2403.89之前版本中使用的Expat 2.1.0及之前版本中的‘XML_GetBuffer’函数存在整数溢出漏洞。远程攻击者可借助特制的XML数据利用该漏洞造成拒绝服务（基于堆的缓冲区溢出）。

Multiple integer overflows in the XML_GetBuffer function in Expat through 2.1.0, as used in Google Chrome before 44.0.2403.89 and other products, allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer overflow) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted XML data, a related issue to CVE-2015-2716.
